Arrests and recovery of stolen property

It was like being on an episode of bulls eye on Friday for some local officers with a jet ski, motor home, motorbikes all being recovered after suspected to have been stolen and two persons so far being arrested.

Great work by local officers.

Last Friday afternoon officers have attended Ansley in response to a tracker activation on a reported stolen vehicle.

When Officers arrived a vehicle has driven towards officers and did not stop when requested.

Officers have then recovered a stolen motor home on false plates from the location.

In other units four Yamaha motor bikes suspected to be stolen were found and a suspected stolen jet ski.

A person was then arrested with a cannabis factory located at a separate location but directly linked to the incident.

A second person has since been arrested and investigation is still ongoing with further arrests to follow.
